Coaching

• Work one-on-one with the student with behavioral challenges.
• Implement the goals and objectives as described in the IEP.
• Implement the setting event, antecedent cue, consequence, teaching, and response routine strategies as outlined in the positive behavior support plan.
• Implement and manage the student’s positive behavior support systems.
• Facilitate positive interactions between the student with challenging behavior and his/her typically developing peers.
• Collect and graph data related to IEP goals and objectives.
• Make data-based decisions.
• Target student’s independence and self-determination.
• Collaborate with the Special Education teacher, other classroom aides, and school administrators.
